Which substrates does the graffiti remover work on?

Treatment of brick and stone

Then we rinse it off with a high-pressure spray at 60 to 100 bar and 90 degrees. For stubborn graffiti on brick, a second or third treatment is sometimes needed, and we take the necessary time for an optimal result without damaging the stone.

Removing graffiti from glass, metal and plastic

On smooth surfaces such as glass and metal, removal generally goes faster than on porous materials. We treat glass on shop fronts, office windows or glass doors with a milder variant of our graffiti remover, followed by cleaning with a soft brush or cloth. With glass, care is required to avoid scratches, which is part of the basic expertise we bring.

Metal and plastic surfaces are also easy to treat. On metals such as aluminium, steel or RVS, the product works quickly and without any risk of oxidation. Plastic surfaces require careful dosing and limited soaking time to keep the top layer intact. For every type of material, we choose the right combination of product, soaking time and cleaning technique. We can also remove graffiti from wood, although this often requires extra work due to the fibre structure of wood.

Many owners of commercial buildings or homeowners’ association boards know HG graffiti remover from the DIY store as a simple solution for small incidents. For a limited tag on a single surface, this can sometimes be sufficient, but for commercial buildings, complexes and larger surfaces it often falls short. Our professional graffiti remover is more powerful, is specifically developed for large surfaces and is combined with a high-pressure spray for optimal results.

In addition, we have the knowledge and equipment to tackle different types of paint and tags. Removing a spray-can tag is technically different from removing waterproof paint or etching ink. On request, we combine the anti-graffiti coating with a fresh layer of 2C Colour Coat in the original or desired colour, so that in one project you get a clean, protected and representative facade. The coating lasts about ten years and provides substantial protection against both graffiti and general soiling.

Removing graffiti shadows and residue

With old or dried graffiti, a light graffiti shadow sometimes remains after the first treatment: a faint imprint of the original tag that stays visible in the substrate. For these shadows, we use an additional product specifically developed for removing these residual traces. This gives you a streak-free end result without visible reminders of the original problem.

Residue from long-term exposure to graffiti traces can also be removed. For heavy soiling or years-old tags, we take extra time for a thorough treatment. Our starting point is that every job is only delivered when the result meets our standard.
